1. What Data We Collect

When you connect a selling platform (Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, or TikTok Shop), ad platform (Facebook Ads, Google Ads), or shipping provider (ShipStation, Shippo, Easyship), we access the following data through their APIs:

• Order data: order IDs, revenue, platform fees, shipping costs, and transaction dates
• Product data: product names, SKUs, images, and prices
• Store metadata: store name and domain
• Ad spend: total spend amounts per platform
• Shipping data: shipment costs, carrier info, and tracking numbers

We do not collect customer personal information. We do not store your customers' names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details. Our system only processes order-level financial data needed to calculate profit.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to calculate and display profit metrics in your PureProfit dashboard. This includes per-product profit, per-platform breakdowns, fee analysis, and ad spend attribution.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the PureProfit service to you.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Neon, with encryption at rest. Our application is hosted on Vercel. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.

Platform access tokens are stored securely in our database and are only used to sync data from your connected platforms.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a store, all orders and associated data for that store are deleted immediately. When you delete your account, all of your data is permanently deleted.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your data is never shared for advertising or marketing purposes. The only third parties that process your data are our infrastructure providers (Vercel for hosting, Neon for database), solely for the purpose of operating the service.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data at any time through the PureProfit dashboard
• Delete your data by disconnecting a store or deleting your account
• Export your data by contacting us
• Withdraw consent by disconnecting a platform or deleting your account

7. GDPR Compliance

PureProfit operates as an independent data controller. We process data lawfully based on your consent (connecting your platforms) and contractual necessity (providing the service you signed up for).

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We honor all data subject access requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the PureProfit dashboard.
